Besides, what’s wrong with Biden taking Trump out? I thought Trump’s lawyers argued recently that a president is immune to do anything. Right? If Biden wanted to take him out, couldn’t he just send a seal team to do it? Or expedite one of the more serious cases?

Republicans could have… you know… dumped Trump’s *** after Jan 6. Sure it might’ve cost them a few low info racist voters in the short term. But long term? Probably would’ve been better. They’ve had hundreds of off ramps. Today is another one. I’m sure most will pass it.

Absolutely.

In an alternative universe, the GOP dropped Trump and Trumpism in 2021 and returned to “boring” candidates like mitt Romney, Nikki Haley, heck or someone like Gov Cox. Imagine where they’d be today if they’d done that?

I still say he won't go to prison per se. At best, he'll be placed on house arrest. The logistical concerns about having the SS protect someone in prison would just be insane, even if he's obviously not in gen pop.

Still kinda funny that we get to choose between a convicted felon who was banging porn stars while his wife was pregnant and a guy who is losing his marbles. I predicted years ago that I would live long enough to see a Kardasian as president and I think we are only a couple election cycles away.

I'm not politically active, so hesitant to post anything here, but I've been disappointed to see some of the reaction from Trump's conviction. I'm not on Facebook, but I am on LinkedIN and there was a post that got liked by an acquaintance talking about how the courts are rigged and this is going to lead to civil war. I went and checked the comments and there were hundreds of people agreeing with them, on LInkedIN.

My question for those who continue to support Trump is how would you know if he did something bad? If the media is corrupt and biased and the courts are corrupt and biased, how will you ever know if he has done something wrong? Like, just pretend and imagine he really did do something wrong, how would you find out?
