What's new

donate some random facts: fighting the offseason.

No. Energy is still bound by the speed of light. And we'll be uploading brains a lot sooner than in billions of years. Probably within a couple of centuries.
You should call yourself Siro, inc.

Coz you're so firm about everything.

We will be teleporting things long before that as well. NASA thread Siro!

Teleporting people? I have my doubts that it's even possible. Never the less, teleportation is still bound by the speed of light. No information can flow faster than light.

Do you believe in telepathy and prophetic visions?

I don't believe in prophetic visions or any supernaturalisms. Earlier in the 20th century, scientists gave telepathy and ESP a lot of attention because they did not know enough about the brain to separate fact from fiction. Decades of research failed to verify even a single case. Now that we know a lot more, there is no plausible mechanism for telepathy. Unless we're talking about supernaturalism again, which I don't believe in, or even find meaningful.

Brain-to-brain communication through technology is possible. For example, you think of a sentence, and a device embedded in your brain translates your brain signals into text and sends it to someone else's device, which translates the text back into brain signals.

I believe that what we see as supernatural or blasphemy may come out to be tomorrow's scientific fact so I always keep my mind open. I think this is the supposed aim of science too. There is no unchangeable truth. Call it demagogy, but I believe that.
