2 days to training camp.....
The most common 2 man combination on the Jazz last season was Hayward and Favors. In over 1800 minutes together they were a net +2 in rebounds and +2 in points per 100 possessions. The two highest positive point differentials for two man combinations were Exum/Hayward (+6.4) and Exum/Favors (+5.8).
Poor Enes had a negative point differential of -7.3 with Trey, -3.4 with Hayward, and -2.5 with Favors. Enes did have the highest offensive rating of any Jazz player last season (107.8), but when he was on the floor the Jazz opponents had an offensive rating of 111.4, which was bad, but not the worst on the team..... Alec Burks helped the opponents get an offensive rating of 114. I wonder how much of that was because Alec didn't play late in the season when the team finally gelled on defense. Alec played 510 of his 899 minutes with Trey and Enes. Rudy Gobert had a team best, holding opponents to an offensive rating of 101.9....
The Jazz made atleast 2 3-pointers in every game last season, in the second game of last season the Jazz made 14 3-pointers. They lost to Dallas by 18. Alec Burks started as 2 gaurd in that game, he had 2 steals, 2 assists, made 2 of 2 fts and only missed 2 of his 5 3-pt attempts. Rudy Gobert did not block a shot in the game, in fact he did not block a shot in either of his first 2 games.
Rudy had 24 double doubles last season, Derrick Favors had 23. favors had 2 games with five assists. The Aussies, Dante and Joe Ingles averaged 2 assists per game.
Speaking of Australia, There are two species of crocodiles in Australia. The smaller, Freshwater Crocodile, also called Johnstone’s Crocodile (Crocodylus johnstoni) is 2-3 metres long, and it can be distinguished from the larger salt water crocodile by its slender snout. Freshwater crocodiles eat fish, crustaceans, insects, smaller reptiles, amphibians, rats, bats and birds. They are found in northern Australia between Cape York Peninsula in the east and Broome in the west, and as opposed to the saltwater crocodiles, they can be found way into the inland: they live in freshwater rivers and lakes in the whole Kimberley region in Western Australia, the Top End of Northern Territory, and in the inland of northern Queensland. The good news is that freshwater crocodiles are not dangerous to humans, although it is not recommended to go swimming with them. Swimmers have been injured, but humans are too large to be their prey and fresh water crocodiles would not attempt to kill us for food.
