Donovan, other players considering not playing

No, but if she shows signs of wanting to leave then you have to make the business move. Regardless of why he may want to leave.

I hope the minority of people who say some loud **** doesn't overwhelm him.

Am I crazy or are these online comments coming from small percentages of people?

Ignore the Laker fans who show up to Jazz games. Yeah, they're so obnoxious they stand out but I wanna remember the cheers. I can't speak for Donovan though.

Don’s smart, I also think he’s frustrated and hurt. It’s true that these idiots are in every comment section, but he cares about his. I saw someone on twitter thanking him for taking time with his 3 sons last night in some parking lot. Don is back in Utah, and still treating people with the love he always has it seems. He does deserve us all being 100% behind him. The idiots will exist and we must do all we can to improve our community. It’s certainly not his obligation, but I like that he’s a part of it. Our community is a much better place just because he’s in it. He has to be upset and frustrated, and yet one of the tweets I see of him today is someone from Utah thanking him for taking the time to talk to their 3 kids in some parking lot. The idiots piss me off so much.....Donovan’s been good to a lot of people, especially kids in this community and he’s continuing being that same guy. I know his sister/mom were here via IG for a couple days before he got back here, so I think he does still feel comfortable and knows there’s love here, but we have to do all we can do to be better as a state and community, not just for Donovan, but for the entire betterment of our community and the people who live in it.

You’re misreading what I’m saying, if this has hurt him enough that he isn’t willing to play here anymore and asks to be traded because of it, the damage will be long long lasting. Obviously that’s not near as important as the actual conversation that’s just going to be the case if it happens. The Jazz love Donovan, support him, and want him here and have been fully supportive of he and the rest of the players speaking out and using their accounts to do it as well. But if he is hurt enough he doesn’t want to be here it’s going to devastate the franchise for a long time.

I gotcha, dude. While Mitchell should take offense to all of these hateful comments, ignorant people and flat out racists, I hope he understands they don't represent those who don't feel that way.

Not talking about you (generic statement ahead,) but **** those who try and shame Utah and make us all feel that way or seem that way. You're the problem.

The **** in the ground doesn't represent the flowers it grows.

He's growing up in front of our eyes. When he was first drafted he was the most grateful and humble person. Dude understands he has a platform now. He's using it to stand up for something noble and right. I just hope he knows the clowns mad at this don't represent all Jazz fans or Utahns.

Society is still in the infancy of progression. If only people understood this and the universe.

Oh wow, this is too easy. Like Dante Exum, maybe Enes Kanter? A high pick guarantees nothing. DM would go 2nd in a 2017 redraft, behind only Jayson Tatum.

Sure, but is he good enough to get the Jazz anywhere? Thats the real question. Will he always be a top 15 - 25 player? Or will he truly ascend to the top 10 that a championship team needs? It's come to a day and age you need to be in a big market or shoot for the stars. Not shoot for the top of the redwoods.

Unlikely, but there is a chance being he's 23. You don't see any teams giving up on players as good as DM. This is because 1) they are still young, and 2) a rookie max isn't that punishing.
Devin Booker was max extended, Beal max extended, Hield, close to max extended, Siakim max extended, D'angelo max extended. You also have to remember first and foremost, its a business.
You have to pay to keep the lights turned on. 90% of the fans just want to see a competitive team, you don't want to alienate those 90% by going video game mode and hitting the "reset franchise" button when they just paid $100 for a DM jersey.

Sure, and Phoenix, Wash, Sacramento, Minnesota are all terrible and will be for a very very long time. I'm not saying I want it to happen but if they get a good offer they should roll the dice and take it.

If the Jazz have to trade Don because of this or he wants to leave soon, the damage will be long lasting to the franchise in general.
We have him for at least 4-5 years. What’s the rush?

What’s the percentage of this making us better than we are now, or even The percentage of making us equal to what we are now? I feel we are one player away, you resign Gobert and then you have at least 4 years to find that player. That option is much more likely to work than starting over. I’ll live and die by Gobert and Mitchell no hesitation

With 3 or 4 unprotected Knicks first round picks? It's not bad. This draft sucks nuts but not every year will be terrible and Don isn't good enough to drag the Knicks out of purgatory.
