Donovan playoff praise from media thread

One show on ESPN, can’t remember which, said “watch this postgame interview of Donovan. Even if you have no heart you have to love this kid”
I can’t agree more, he is so damn likeable. And it’s all real. Nothings fake. We got a superstar in our hands. He’s a Star right now turning into a superstar
Once in a while you get to see he’s still just a kid. Laughing every time Rubio gets asked a question in Spanish, it’s just nice to see at those moments he’s genuinly just a fun, loving, happy kid, and Jazz fans can take real comforting in knowing that’s genuinly him. There’s not many people that seem too perfect to be true that actually are, but Donovan is one of those people that are as good as they seem.

I live near Sacramento and play pickup ball out here a lot... everyone knows I'm a Jazz fan (used to have an awesome connection at Oracle that would pilfer Jazz stuff for me) It feels like a month ago I was telling people you see what DM is doing... people were like who... now everyone like hey lets talk about Donovan. My favorite thing is telling Kings fans they passed on him... twice! They are straight beaten down and it is not as much fun to mock them... the Tyreke Evans rookie year was the best for that.
Donovan was laughing as he pulled Crowder away from Adams in the scuffle. It made me like him even more. Protect your team-mate but at the same time remind them it is a game, we are supposed to be having fun. Not sure what made him laugh, but it might have just been how surreal it must be to be in your first NBA bench-clearing kerfuffle.

It was a smile of approval and happiness... clearly we had broken them mentally at that point.

^And no way does Donovan develop like he has with Gordon as the primary option. The player I really underestimated was Ingles. He's stepped into the SF position and I think his 2-way contribution almost matches what Hayward gave Utah. Joe is a much better defender.
No way does a dweeb that took half a decade to develop in the league, 25 years to develop into a disappointing adult, and still hasn't grown a pair dictate anything about how an all-world/superstar/MVP talent develops.

After Crowder walked away Donovan looked into the crowd and put a finger to his head still smiling, basically saying "We're in their heads"
