That's not necessarily true, if you factor in endorsements, state tax code differences, etc. Also, maybe Deron cares about more than money.

Yep.Deron wasn't going to commit unconditionally to a team that wasn't winning. Big ****ing deal. He could have demanded a trade when we weren't winning, but he didn't. That's enough proof to me that he likely would have stayed if we were still a playoff team.
