Eight Seed Anyone?

Do you think the Jazz could make the play-offs this season?

I have a three-year fan plan. I'll be very happy with 35 wins this year. Next year is when it should be around 45 and competing for the playoffs. The following year anything less than 50 wins and a competitive playoff series would be a major disappointment.

I'd say that's pretty reasonable. Coincides with the expected development of Exum into the starting PG role. Also allows Utah to go out and find or draft a starting PF. We have our stud interior player in Favors. And Hayward appears to be a stat filler. I'd gladly take 16/7/5, although I think scoring probably ends up a little higher and rebounds and assists come down a bit. I'm also high on Burks and Hood, despite the rookie's shooting through three games. Booker should be re-signed as a quality backup. And Gobert can be a good rim protector off the bench.

That's a core of 7 players, with Utah needing a starting PF and backup PG, IMO.

I agree with this. It's a real shame that Kanter doesn't look like he is going to work out. He should really be able to compliment favors well with his style of play, but as of now it's not looking as if we will keep him past this year. Usually Power Forward is a pretty stacked position but it doesn't look like there will be any great suitable power forwards in the upcoming draft that would compliment favors either (feel free to challenge me on this, I hope I am wrong).

(sorry, I had to do that)

3 games into the season, with a brutal run to kick things off and we are 1 game out of the 8 seed. #FeelThePower

We're just half a game back from being the 4 seed since the Northwest division sucks right now. Home court advantage confirmed.
