Granted we've been playing teams with horrendous 2nd units, but he has looked great on D while seeming capable on offenseI'm getting on board the hype train.

Neither of them is particularly good, but for a bench piece Svi has a terminal case of thinking he is the major character. And he is not Clarkson to act like that. Harkless, at least, seems to be a hard working guy who wants to listen to coaches and fit in: there is a chance that he can be molded into O'Neal-type of player, and they are valuable when cheap. Since the season is a wash it makes sense for the Jazz to keep playing Harkless for 15-20 minutes every night to see if he is good to retain.Personally I would start Harkless over Svi as he provides better defense and has a shot at being a legit piece moving forward.
Svi has been good, but his erratic shot selection doesnt really make me excited for him moving forward.
Harkless is PG size, Juzang is legitimately wing size. I don't see them necessarily in direct competition (though there's occasional overlap in Hardy's lineups this year). And I feel bad for Juzang but Harkless is obviously stronger and more explosive. If Elijah can reliably shoot at 35%-36% from the three Ainge will gladly kiss goodbye to Johnny.
Hadn't thought of it this way, since my view was that Sexton was always expendable.Sexton seems more and more expendable as Harkless gets better
