And yes, I have a problem with people picking out the most salacious, exaggerated parts of something to facilitate avoidance of engaging with stories of actual substance.

I was seeing people post about it on Facebook and jazzfanz. When they did I called them stupid for buying it. As I feel I should.
Should I have been like "ya we need to get Hillary and shut down that pizza parlor" instead?
It was probably on Twitter and other social media as well but I don't use any other social media so I can't be sure.

Also, I would be curious if anyone can find any post on JFC of anyone really making a case that Hillary was running a prostitution ring out of Comet Ping Pong Pizza. Plenty of people talked about people talking about it, but as far as I recall nobody here ever made that argument. I’m willing to put up $50 for the first person who can find someone here making the argument that Hillary was running a prostitution ring from the pizza parlor.

I said that people preferred to engage with the strawman rather than the substantive issues. That’s best done by engaging in the actual issues, and not sidetracking on the strawmen. How does that relate to me ignoring the conservative thread?

First of all, if you think I wasn’t calling out Democrats because I’m biased, then you must’ve missed post 1 of this entire thread. Maybe you should start at the beginning before you make any more embarrassing accusations?

Secondly, I have no idea who Bill Richardson and George Mitchell are. Are they prominent figures in politics today? Are you suggesting that I should know everyone who was involved in the Epstein case?

Personally, due to other interests and job requirements, I’ve distanced myself from detailing myself on every daily detail of this case and thought it best to let the trial run its course. But again, if you felt like I was purposely avoiding this case due to political bias, you might want to read post 1 or this entire thread.

Edit: I remember hearing about George Mitchell after I googled him. I mean, I was a pre-pubescent kid back then and wasn’t as plugged into politics and history as I am now. I’m sure I’ve read at some point some important legislation he helped pass under Bush I and Clinton. So Cool. You got me, I really should’ve kept up on this forum up to date on George Mitchell’s connection to Epstein. Shame on me

And, yes, the Jeffrey Epstein issue was connected in this because the larger context was the reality of child sex labor and the idea of pizzagate was only one question within that larger idea, and the out-in-the-open behaviors of Epstein and co. were on full display but overshadowed by “lol hillary running prostitution rings lolz stupid repubs!” Hence my largest concern with Trump was an active case against him and Epstein that was, or should have been, common knowledge three years ago but now fastforward and it’s “what? Bill rode the Lolita Express 26 times? Who kept this knowledge from us??!”

I think your understanding of pizzagate is poorly informed. The article below explains how it began and who it was trying to hurt (Clinton).

It was started by right wing conspiracy theorists with the explicit intention of hurting Clinton politically and spread by Russian troll farms on social media. I think attributing these nutjobs with the knowledge that they were actually providing cover for Epstein and the rich and powerful is giving them way too much credit and is ultimately grasping at straws.

Not THAT well known. I mean, Bill Richardson I was reminded of, but I don't think I had ever heard of Mitchell.

Well someone needs to tell the outlandish people the actual truth in the present rather than 3 years later don't ya think? You could be that guy! Prevent pizzagate from happening again.

Anyway I'm pretty sick of politics at this point and going to just kick it in non political threads for a while like you smartly mostly do.
