ESPN Player Rankings - Jazz Players

So 30 teams 15 roster spots.

330 divided by 30 is 11. So Novak and Evans are considered 11th men or in other words roster fillers.

I've been older than every single NBA player for a few years now, so nothing new for me.

Something I'm not used to? Realizing the Jazz have a player (only one for now) younger than my son.

Ha that's the first thing I noticed as well. Except my oldest is just 2mo younger than Dante so I barely fit under that category.

The secret to staying young must be to wait until later in life to have kids. I don't have any children who are older than any NBA players... and it will be several years until I do.

I can recognize probably 98% of players names in the NBA plus a bunch that are on the cusp, in the D league, etc..

I don't think that's really a big deal. I don't get crazy nerdy about it. Just playing fantasy basketball will force you to learn the names.

Yes, exactly.
Both are role players. For Utah, I see a spot for Novak; every team needs a 3-pt shooter. Evans is a tweener. Love the guy, but he really isn't that valuable in terms of what he brings to the Jazz.

As for Hood, I think he's going to surprise the league. Great shooter, seems to have the necessary speed to be an adequate defender. IMO, he should have been valued in the 14-18 range. If not a starter in 2 years, then a very solid rotation player, especially in the offensive system Quin is installing.
