Turkey should just go big, and play these 6 guys big minutes:
Asik
Kanter
Ilyasova
Hedo
Preldzic
Onan
These guys at least tend to play tough D and try to get the ball to the basket (Hedo being the exception...but he makes good things happen sometimes). The rest of the team is junk. Pure garbage.
Edit: Savas deserves more minutes too. The coach should just be committed to playing BIG. The scrub guards aren't helping. Playing Ersan at the 3 is the solution.

He is actualy Kosovar of origin, which coincidentally is where my family is from. He definitely pulled a Kobe-esque clutch shot there at the enfd of regulation
It actually reminded me a lot of Dwill. Isolating the big man, then just shooting a calm jumper over the top.

He ****ing lost the game for his team Sepanol, seriously destroying their tournament chances in the process. His Keister should be POSTED on the bench
Turkey's problem is at all times, their 3 perimeter players are all looking to be 1 on 1 players. Poland had a bunch of team guys, then 1 guy on the floor who could create for himself if needed. They play team ball for stretches, then once they get a lead, or they are pressured, they revert back to errant jump shots.

His defense was **** as well. Worst player for Turkey today, from start to finish.
GO BIG! 7 productive players willing to pound the ball inside and play D, who cares if only one of them is a guard (Onan)? Preldzic and Hedo can both handle the ball very well, and Ersan and Kanter have shown an ability to shoot when they have to. Poor coaching. Far too rigid.
after lithuania game i actually thought we could easily make the semi final, but this is like a disaster if we leave the tournament so early. The bad thing is if spain loses today, they have to win the last game as well and it will be like an nba finals tense game
