These 3 play the least.

Will they carry all 3 to the games or send someone to the D leaugue ?


Trades ?

Thoughts ?
 
Can't send Fesenko to the D-League as he has been in the league too long. The others are good candidates to be sent down when we are healthy. Fesenko could be a throw in on a trade, but I don't see any trades happening unless we can get something useful for AK.
 
I don't think you send someone down until Memo shows his Achillies is holding up.

When that happens I think Hayward benefits most from D-League time.
 
I am actually a fan of Hayward's and recent Jazz fan because of Hayward.

I tell ya one thing on a side note, in the beginning I was critical of Dwill, but I have watched every Jazz game, every minute on NBA League Pass.

Dwill is awesome, he is this team. What a player. Until this year, I mostly follwed the Bulls & Pacers since I am in the Chicago area.

If I was playing us I would double him as soon as he gets the ball and let the rest try to win.



As for Hayward, I think a trade would make sense both ways.

I would like to see Hayward get some regular PT on a crappier team.

We are too good, he wont see floor much.

I think Hayward will develop into a reliable utility player. Needs time.

He is only 20, developing, but he is smart as heck and once he start playing not worrying about
mistakes and has his teams backing ... watch out.

Heck, Bell is like 5 for his last 25 and no one expresses concern.....


I am concerned Jazz will not give Hayward his minutes(justifiably so since they are so good) and at the end of 2 years, not renew his contract.


We'll see.

I have absolutely nothing against Evans, he has been fun to watch on offense, Dfense lacking. I think in 3 years Jazz will see the benefit of Hayward, if they keep him.

Was he a #9 pick, no way. I think he was more accurately a #20 or so pick, but he got lucky.
 
I don't think that the Jazz will just give up on Hayward this soon into his rookie season. He'll take time to develop, but we got time. We got a lot of people coming off payroll the next season or two, he'll get time. He'll develop just fine. I'd rather him go to the D-League and get more experience for when the Jazz actually need him.
 
Evans is the only one I see as sendable. Fess wont benefit from going down there at all. Hayward is needed because we are thin at the wing position with Raja's nagging injuries.
 
Could not disagree more with the responses to this thread. Evans is the guy to keep. I don't get the love for Hayward, other than the fact that he looks like he's home grown.
 
Its not that I think Hayward has been great or anything (or even good, or subpar for that matter). It just his position is one that we are thin on, and with Bell's recent injury problems, not to mention AK's annual injury, we are going to need an extra wing around.

i think Evans can play the 3 in spot minutes if needed. With Price, CJ, Bell, and Deron playing minutes at the 2 I don't see any reason not to send Hayward to the D-league.

Maybe I am mistaken but can't you send a guy down and bring him back up a couple times? I don't have an issue with the Jazz sending Hayward down for 5-10 games then switching and sending Evans down so long as you can bring them back as needed in case of injuries.
