In other news Dante Exum just signed a lucrative endorsement deal with Charmin.
This does seem like an obvious game for him to return (b-to-b). Oh well.In other news Dante Exum just signed a lucrative endorsement deal with Charmin.
What the hell? Are they keeping him off the court so he can be traded without the next injury taking place before the deal is done? I've always hoped he could contribute but at this point if he were traded for a case of Gatorade at least our guys could stay hydrated for a minute.
I didn’t say they had everything in common.
The major thing they have in common is they both make up their mind about what they’re going to force a full second before they should. Or longer. Mudiay has the tools to get away with this a bit better than Burks, but I hope he can be trained out of it.
Mostly agreed, but he uses a couple of possessions a game where he doesn't pass the ball once and that's unacceptable. He also doesn't even attempt 3s which bodes poorly for his playing off-ball.This is fair... I'd just say that AB would make up his mind he's gonna shoot then go... Mudiay seems to make up his mind then get to his spot... I'm 1000% okay with what Mudiay is doing... turnovers should come down a touch. Having a bench creator that eats up some possessions at a league average rate is solid. If he is passable on defense and limits the turnovers then its more that solid. His defense has been fine so far... to be fair I expected Kanter/Harden(in a city with good strip clubs) levels of terrible.
Last time Exum was 'rushed' back from injury, he was incredibly bad and then one of his knees exploded, so this is good I guess.
Yeah I got nothing.Last time he was babied back from an injury stuff still exploded though... If we bring him back now he might get hurt earlier and be back from that injury for the playoffs... where he can give us a couple solid games before going out with his season ending injury... but if he is healthy in the summer maybe we can move his expiring deal...
This is some next level injury management.

I like Mudiay, but there are some real warts there.
The question is, who's warts are worse? Exum or mudiay.Mostly agreed, but he uses a couple of possessions a game where he doesn't pass the ball once and that's unacceptable. He also doesn't even attempt 3s which bodes poorly for his playing off-ball.

Solid point. I don’t think he’s amazing but if he was he isn’t a bench piece and isn’t available for the minimum. The question is, who's warts are worse? Exum or mudiay.
I mean if you have a backup point guard without warts then they probably shouldn't be a backup.
