Exum Injured

Less worried about the ACL-- more worried about what this does to his confidence with driving towards the hoop if it turns out to be serious. I know Russ got back to speed, but that dude's got way more moxie than Dante.

Y'all are a bunch of selfish ********, all this woe's me, how about some well wishes for the kid who is actually injured?

Honestly my first reaction was the same, thought "****" and what are the Jazz going to do now, but then I felt bad for him moments later.

Dude, quit being such a moron-- do you know how hard it is to be able to tell how long a ligament will hold up? These are 19 year old human beings, not ****ing vehicles where you can just jack the car up and look at its components.

And you completely missed my point-- this isn't a one-off genetic thing. I think 7-8 of the top 10 players from last year have now had serious injuries within their first 12-14 months of being drafted. This is not genetic. The article I mentioned talked about how much basketball these kids are playing at way too young of ages, and their bodies are becoming ticking time bombs.

Agreed. It's the same reason so many pitchers now need Tommy John surgery or other throwing arm surgery compared to 25 years ago. Baseball year round has become all too common.

But it's funny because almost all pro coaches in in the major sports say that playing many different sports when you are younger is better for you...even if one is trying to groom a kid to be a pro athlete.

I know, and its ********. Kids are falling apart out here man. 2014 was just absolutely nuts. I gotta find that article.

Yeah, but this argument is kind of irrelevant to Exum since he took nearly an entire year off from basketball and didn't get overplayed last year at all.

The way Exum did that 'hop' and injured his knee reminded me of when D Rose injured his ACL years back..

Rose's injury looked a lot more serious though.

Damn... why does this have to happen now, things starting to get good for us.

I would say trade one or some of our assets for an up and coming PG who's on the out somewhere... may be somebody like Darren Collison? Rondo is joining the Kings so they may be wanting to unload him? Wouldn't mind Elfrid Payton neither.

We could have gone after Ty Lawson but it's too late now.

Schröder.

Burke and one of our better 1sts for him. Would you do it? Would it be enough?

I sympathize with your fake self-righteous outrage.

This ruined my day. Hoping and praying it's not an ACL. That would sap some of his explosiveness, which could become his best trait. Hoping it's a hyper extension and nothing worse. Didn't look good, but I've seen some that looked worse that ended up being minor. If it was an ACL, I'd think it would have been leaked that they at least we're worried about that.
