I think some of you are hilarious. Offense minded fools. Do u know that basketball has another side called defense? And did u know that Rudy Gobert still struggles on offense as well. Yet you all worship the ground he walks on. Dante is a major piece to this defense. And I see a star in the making with his abilities. Some of u are so one sided that u have your head buried in the sand. We have guys who can score, but we don't have anyone else who can stop opposing PGs. And that is why this is a huge blow. I honestly think I see talent in the kid. But because he doesn't score 20 a game this isn't a big loss? What are you guys smoking?

I have a hard time believing anyone who has watched Trey Burke shoot 2-22 would ask that question. Dante was basically a spot up shooter who didn't waste possessions, unlike Trey. You are judging him on your preconceptions of what a PG's game should look like instead of his overall impact. As others have pointed out before, Utah was able to win without a traditional pg offensively, because we had other players capable of being play makers. Dante was basically a 3 and D player from the PG position, in which the D was very good and the 3 was just OK, but not so bad like some people are making it out to be. I certainly hope you aren't one of those people who think we won games in spite of Dante. The kid definately contributed to our strong 2nd half of the season by playing good defense and by not doing damage to his own team offensively because he understood his own limitations.

I thought Siro was talking about his offensive impact. Dante sucked offensively. He did nothing but spot-up. He attempted more 3s than 2s and shot only %31. He was a 3&D player without the 3. Just because his defense makes his overall impact plus doesn't mean he is a good offensive player.
 
Exum's positive impact had everything to do with him not being Trey Burke.
 
I'd like the jazz to get a vet PG now, I don't think I could stand watching burke, neto, and cotton as our pg rotation...
