Exum Injured

Shröder does become RFA in 2 years though right? They are already paying Teague and have Mack as another PG.

They might not want to pay Shröder in 2 years time (ala OKC and Reggie Jackson). So getting x2 firsts might be enough to pry him away.
As much as I like Schroedinger, I would not give up two firsts for him even if they both turn out to be late firsts.

That's an overpay IMO.

So if Exum is out for whole year does he count towards 15 man roster?
Would Jazz be able to sign a sixteen contract?

They people that were "meh" about Dante as a prospect and are now "meh" about this injury need their heads checked. Yes, the kid had some things to work on but our record with him and Rudy as starters, coupled with his defense are some of the biggest reasons this young team was expected to make a playoff push this year.

This is an absolutely crippling blow to his development. While I actually believe that DL and Quinn might be able to make some moves and somehow move on from this, it's devastating to see for what Dante could become as an individual player. I can't remember the last time a Jazz injury gutted me like this. Brutal.

I dunno, he's certainly one of the top guys of all time. Can't argue with talent like that.

Yeah but he was so indecisive. Is the cat alive? Is the cat dead? Good hell man just make up your mind!

I'm just chilling to see what the Jazz say after they take a look.

Though Dante's young enough that he can come back and be near 100%, my one fear is that this will set him back mentally from attacking the rim in the future knowing that one step cost him a year off his basketball life.

This really sucks. I wasn't a fan of Exum before we drafted him and even though his rookie year was really rough stats wise, I've grown to really like his game. If it's any kind of ligament tear then he'll be out basically the entire season, And what I worry about the most is how we recovers from a torn ACL. A lot of athletes lose their speed, agility and burst after an injury like this. Exum's biggest thing was his speed and agility. He COULD be a completely different player...not to mention what this does to his attitude and mentality of being aggressive.
I'm dying in anticipation on what his injury is

What were the differences between Rose's acl and Adrian Peterson's? I've heard its how much of the miniscus is preserved. If there is no cartilage damage you come back 100% but if there is cartilage damage, you struggle with it long term.
