Yeah, I agree. Asking/expecting someone to become Kobe or Jordan is pretty much ridiculous isn't it? Kind of like expecting a thoroughbred to become Secretariat or Man O War. Not impossible for Dante to become a Seabiscuit though.

The Jordan comparison is horrible. Michael played three years in college and won the championship game in the NCAA tourney. He was far more ready than Exum will be.

Kobe is a much better comparison, although the odds are still very slim that he'll turn out anywhere near as good.

Kobe had it rough for a while. Everyone knew he was an incredible talent, and he showed it on and off, but he tried to do way too much quite often in his first couple of seasons.

I am incredibly disappointed we didn't try harder to move up. It is getting old having so many B level players, and adding another B+ level player does nothing to raise the excitement level. It's gonna be hard being a JF for the next few years.
