Favors = passion?

Favors has two emotions - silence and rage.

In other words he's a man - so leave the basketball to Favors and just go down to Starbucks and order your Decafe, Double, Grande, 2 pump Vanilla, Non-Fat, Extra Hot, Latte and negotiate some "emotional shares" with your plutonic lady friend (who has 6 cats)

For god's sake, too many are making this into some type of criticism of Favors. Not at all. Just a question about what some of you thought and my own observations. Wanted intelligent observations on the question, not hysterics.

Never been to Starbucks in my life (i like real coffee). Have no lady friend other than my wife of 44 years and don't know what an "emotional share" is. Apparently you do!

Started this thread to see if anyone else appreciates Favors for the way he plays the game. He is a breath of fresh air after watching way to many sports center highlights. Like his attitude and approach to the game and also most of the rest of this team.

Duncan rarely ever gets excited. I am not worried about that.

They key is can he stay aggressive every single game. his aggressiveness on offense is the key. And Corbin making sure these wing players and pg's get him the ball.

I get what you're saying, but answer me this: does Tim Duncan have passion?

Answer: Yes.

I think that some people confuse demonstrativeness with passion or inner fire. Just because Favors doesn't emit primal screams, thump his chest, use his thumbs to pull out his jersey, or make other showy displays doesn't mean he lacks passion or inner fire. (You'll probably never see Hayward make these kinds of showy displays either.)

Different people have different ways of doing things. Simple as that.
