Favs Replacements

Look I don't watch his G League games... His numbers are not encouraging at all. Larsen was really down on the guy... and scoffed in a podcast at the idea that he was ready for any nba minutes. I guess I can wait until summer league to see what he looks like but I have the feeling if the Jazz had a do-over on picking up his option for next year that they very well may decline it.

I don't think we would rely on him as a the primary backup yet.
He played out of position nearly the entire season and averaged 19 and 10 per 36 minutes as a PF...

If using per 36 stats in the G-League is the strength of your argument, you don't have one.
What else should I be using? People just love being negative on him because the aesthetics of his game, but the guy has a lot of natural talent.

The guy has been a productive player.

He did the same last year per36... I know he had the injury this year but he managed to shoot 45% from FT which is a big regression... limited sample. I don't hate the aesthetics of his game... it's just that in the G League he should put up big numbers if he's an NBA player... there are like 3-4 G League centers I like more than him.

Cavanaugh puts up 21 and 9 on 40% 3 point shooting, Haas had slightly better per36 numbers than Bradley, Willie Reed before he got hurt had better numbers.

Yes, again, because he played out of position.
