Sexton has decent numbers....10/4 on 4/8 shooting....he's had some good moments but overall that half was a disaster. His defense in particular has just been abysmal. It's why you can't only look at the surface level numbers with him.

He's totally outclassed by Brunson. Most are. Dude is so good.

How often do you see Clarkson make this pass? He's not a very accurate passer in transition. That's a one handed left handed pass with a small window. He took the shot he's good at and we executed a 2 for 1...

I don’t see Clarkson pass very often that’s the problem. So because you think he’s not capable of making an alley-oop pass that negates the fact that it was a bad shot. Sounds good.

Battling means nothing. One of the main reasons Sexton has struggled on defense throughout his career is because he's way too aggressive and easily gets blown by. Defense isn't about being intense or super close to the ball handler. It's about stopping the other team scoring and he's getting eaten alive right now.

Lauri has had some great looks tonight and almost all of his missed threes rimmed out. We are only down 6. If he can get going a little we can win.

Again, nobody has stopped Brunson tonight. Sexton has forced him into some tough shots on multiple possessions.
