Absolutely it is. And I wonder if it might be fatal? Had we drafted Bane, would he be giving us better production than Royce? We desperately need Oni or Hughes to step up and give us some help

The Clippers played great defense as a unit despite not playing together for a long while. They feel good.

After watching the games this week, it feels like we need another wing defender. Not sure how we upgrade there though, maybe somebody like Aaron Gordon for Bogey makes sense? I just can't see the Jazz trading anyone at this point though.

Make no mistake.... it was their defense that won the game. The next factor was a distant second.

They’re a problem on defense. ****.

They are able to take us out of what we want to do... it felt like we missed the shots we needed to and had some dumb mistakes at tough times.

That said they got great performances from their role players. I think we have a good chance at beating them. Quin has some work to do. Part of it will be instead of just trying to beat them with force you need to use their aggressiveness against them... like this is some miyagido ****. They had the one play where they crossed DM and Mike and Bev prolly should have switched but he’s so concerned about not giving Don anything that Mike got a wide open three.

The other thing to remember is that PG always seems to be hurt in the playoffs... Beverly is injury prone... Kawhi has the tendinopathy issue... like this might be the healthiest they have ever been.

I don’t feel great about the loss because every game is a must win game... but I think we can hang with these guys for sure... always takes a little luck to win the whole thing.

Jazz need to bring in someone better in O'neal's spot. I like him but trading him, Niang, Azubuike and maybe picks for someone better is in order.

We knew this before the draft. We knew we needed a wing defender. Our team D is solid but we will struggle against bigger more athletic teams especially with big athletic wings. But we didn't do anything to remedy this. We drafted a poor-man's Gobert, if we're lucky.

Now that said, we are at 20-2 over our last 22 games. We've battled and fight and, frankly, damn near won this one when we really didn't play very well and they were sharp and on. I think we are still the best team in the league. And I think we have the best shot we've had in decades of winning it all. And also frankly, if we had not been in a 3 pt shooting funk, even making just 2 more 3s and we win this.

I mean damn, yes we have weaknesses and it means we won't sweep the playoffs. But I think we have better than even odds against anyone in a 7-game series.
