Fiesta of dellusion... (or Boston Celtics fans want to trade for Favors)

Pretty sure Catchall, Numberica, Stoked, and a few other would be down with those trades. Because we getting Millsap back

That's because you never actually take the time to read peoples posts.

Sucks to be the Celtics. They have a ton of C grade assets. They want to think they can package a lot of those for an A asset, but it's not happening.

There was a brief period I envied the Celtics with all their picks, assets and a good young coach. Now I think all rebuilding teams are jealous of the Jazz. We have amazing potential at every position and still have extra picks to spend.

And, I don't think we need to pine for Stevens or Hornacek. Snyder is showing he was a fantastic choice.

If I don't read them, then how would I know you were one of the ones who entertained the idea of trading Favors?

Just admit it Stoked, you don't understand what's going on.

If Jody Gennesy thinks it's a good idea to trade Favors, then you are aboard because he's an NBA beat writer so he must know what he's talking about.

And let's be clear. The Jazz have no interest in trading Favors. That's Jody's own conclusion he came to when he heard the grape vine the Jazz were interested in Millsap. That part may be true, but only to make him part of a 3 man rotation.

Just get so tired of these large markets like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago & Boston who think just because of their tradition they can come in and take what they want from the smaller markets like SLC, OKC, Memphis & New Orleans.

They can build from the draft like everyone else. They need to get a GM that recognizes talent; if they don't have one--that's where they should begin the process.

Watched the Utah Jazz patiently build throughout the Jerry Sloan era in which Deron Williams (big head cyclops) creates a volcano then departs. Good luck Jazz, hang on to Favors, you have a knowledgeable coach who can build around him.

So because someone brought up trading Favors and I talked about it and ended up saying that Favors is part of an elite defensive big rotation and I do not want to break that up I am pro trading Favors?

As for Jody, I never really got involved in that argument at all.

Only thing I see here is you trying to hard to be condescending. It would help if you actually applied the right arguments to the right people.

There was a new one on the real GM board.
apparently we are supposed to trade favors for Sully, Bradley, a bunch of non guaranteed contracts, Carl Landry and the worse of the 2016 Boston/nets picks Boston owns.
.
Meanwhile Sacramento nets Favors, and a few other players from Boston plus the better of the Boston/nets picks Boston owns.
.
Boston gets Cousins out of this deal.
.
How Sac pulls down a kings ransom for a malcontent I have no idea.

If the right deal came along I'd trade him. But the right deal wont so I am not worried about it.

These are your words.

Don't act like you mean talking about Lebron or Steph Curry, because that would be a lot easier to say and would portray your feeling about the situation a lot better.

That's just one of your blasphemy posts floating out there. You've been trying to push Favors out of town all summer.

Ugh, amazing how delusional some people are. No way I'd trade Favors for any of that. I wouldn't do a Favors for Cousins trade.
