I just don't see it with Croatia although the talent is there.

Argentina has been playing like crap for almost a year and a half now. Their lack of scoring (even with Messi) and cohesion is mind-blowing. They only scored 19 goals in 18 games in South America's qualifying tournament, tied with last-place Venezuela (most teams scored close to 30). Argentina is a big name who overachieves in the World Cup but it will take just one good team to eliminate them. I can picture France, Peru or Denmark doing it in the second round. France on the other hand, is scary. So good on offense.
