That's not 2nd unit kind of stats. That's starter stats for sure. But I think I get what you are trying to get at.averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds a game does not make you one of the best players in the nba. it makes you very average. that's 2nd unit kind of stats. with his size and stature the man should be averaging 25 points and 15 rebounds a game. he has no skill, no finesse, always looks out of control and surprised when he gets the ball. always in a rush. only thing he can do is dunk
Gobert is a great starter, but not really a star and definitely not a super star.
If we are going to take that next step into a contender, we need Gobert to be our 4th best offensive player while staying our 1st or 2nd best defensive player. Right now, he is probably our 2nd best offensive player which hurts us since he is offensively challenged.
