I think that's a legit concern, but maybe not as bad as it seems. Translates to about 8 per 36. Still not great, but not terrible.
Absolutely love his 3pt stroke for a guy 6'10" with freakish athleticism.
Besides the rebounding, another concern I have is why he played just 24 minutes a game. If you're a team like UW, and you are fighting for a NCAA berth, needing to win every game, and if he's that good, why only 24? Freshmen these days are playing big minutes, so I'm not sure that's an excuse.
I sort of agree that he looks like a top 5 pick, but he's not without some concern.
He played only 24 minutes a game because he averaged over 4 fouls a game. He probably fouled out in about half of the games.
I don't think Chriss has a clue yet about how to really play. He's all athletic skills and potentially interesting shooting and (maybe) ball handling skills at this point. I don't really want him. He reminds me to much of a less productive SF/PF tweener version of Tyus Thomas. He won't be really helping the Jazz for 4-5 years.
