Following potential 2013 draftees

Okay, first of all, Gobert is like the French version of Javalle McGee, although likely less a knucklehead. Nonetheless, he'd get 15 minutes of back-up duty at center at most. He might be available at 14. Most mocks have him in the 8 - 12 range.

Withey is a good back-up center, but he's not a guy you take at 14. Maybe 21.

I think Goodwin has the most talent of anyone that mocks say is available at 14, but he's a bit of a risk. The thing I like about him is his ability to get to the rim and get anywhere he wants on the floor. He just needs to make a smart play instead of forcing things when he gets there.

Larkin is a late first-round pick and too small to be a starter.

Giannis has a ways to go. No one knows what he'll be for 2 years at least, but maybe he's worth it. I see the risk with him, but I'm not sure if his upside is all that great.

Yeah, Schroeder is the guy everyone's talking about.

You don't like Olynyk or Caldwell-Pope?

Very good post.
I swear I'm beginning to think you're bi

-polar. It's like I love and hate your posts like every other read.

There's who I would take and then there's who I think the Jazz will take.

If it were me, and McCollum is off the board, I'd want to take Goodwin or Schroeder. I'm making a concerted effort to avoid MCW.

I think the Jazz would see Goodwin as being risky and take either Schroeder or Caldwell-Pope. Btw, some mocks have us taking KCP.

No. Dont like them that much. Larkin and Whithey are both better pick imo. There is something to be said about players on good teams. Whithey was a bad *** in the tournament. Olynyk looks like a big nerd running around. I like the idea of Archie too. I would be happy with him at 14. Goodwin or Whithey at 14 are probably my two favorites

I think Whithey will be better than Dieng, Plumlee, Olynyk, and possibly Zeller, Len and Gobert.

I like Larkin because he wins, he has a lot of tools to build on, and he has the pedigree. I don't really care that he isn't six foot. There are a bunch of short point guards playing good right now. (Thomas, Robinson, Lawson etc..) I don't think we are looking for a franchise guy right there anyways.

I like Withey at 21. Maybe someone more interesting falls there though. Dunno.
I might like Goodwin at 14, or Shroeder or CJ. Still undecided.

These guys past about #12 are simply not falling into any clear pecking order. Beauty really seems to be in the eye of the beholder this year more than most. Will be interesting to see whether measurements/workouts change things.

I would take Archie at 14 and Whithey at 21. That would be sweet. But like idiot said, its hard to tell where they fall.

One thing that would really help the Jazz would be a SF who rebounds. Hayward slacks on the boards quite often. Having a big SF that boards would help make the Jazz a dominant rebounding team.

Isn't Gobert like 210 lbs and 7+? McGee was and is a freak of nature. From what I understand Gobert is more like a shawn bradley type athlete. Thin, tall and coordinated.

No a huge fan of Olynyk but he can shoot.

If you want a rebounding sf, then we could pick up Aminu, but he isn't a great shooter. This years free agent class sucks. The only person I would want is Parsons, but we would probably have to pay. Which I'm not a fan of, considering it could hinder us from keeping our core. Aminu, might be cheap though. I wouldn't mind him on the cheap. Otherwise we are probably gonna have to wait on that.. Unless we plan on putting Hayward there.
