Following potential 2013 draftees

Alright guys, are you ready for the lottery? I know I am, couldn't come fast enough. Here's Ford's analysis of who we'll pick if we somehow can land in the top 3:

Utah Jazz

First choice: McLemore (0.5 percent)

Second choice: Burke (0.6 percent)

Third choice: Porter (0.7 percent)

Analysis: The Jazz will make their seventh lottery pick in franchise history; only the Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers have made fewer. Everyone knows Utah's biggest need is at the point guard position, and it's possible the Jazz could take Burke at No. 1. He's the sort of leader the team is looking for. But the team also needs shooting, and McLemore might just have more long-term upside for the Jazz. Porter also fits the culture the Jazz are trying to build and could be a very nice fit next to Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter on the front line.

Agrees on the Porter thing. I think he'll fit us perfectly, he's just what we need. Can you imagine the lineup with Hayward, Porter, Kanter & Favors? That's one HUGE lineup length wise.

I'd trade #21 & Burks to move up and get Schroeder.

Someone had to do the dirty work though.. can't imagine the pay would be that great with ESPN.. plus he has to talk to all the scouts and GMs to try and get intel, which is like trying to suck blood out of a stone, and then he had to write it all up in a way that's not offensive to anybody. All the while trying to preserve the ESPN brand as well..

I mean he's wearing a lot of hats all at the same time.. He's kinda like that guy in Fast and Furious, he's a cop, pretending not be a cop, etc...

I think he has a tough job and he's doing his best...
 
This is draft is seriously fun: In past drafts I always wanted to move up to get this key guy in the top 5 or something like that, but this one is more fun because 6-25 seem to be pretty equal, and the excitement will really come if someone we don't expect slips to us at #14 like Alex Len, Cody Zeller and then waiting and hoping Shroder slips to 21. Shroder is the guy I want most but I just hope we can get him at 21.
