Following potential 2013 draftees

Yeah.. he's not been real impressive from range. At least not from what I remember.

No he's not. I'd say he's Kawhi Leonard clone, same school, does everything type wing. Pity about the long range shooting though...

Having said that he seems to be right up Lindsey's alley...

Why? Especially the 2nd one..

the 2nd one is in response to a team like the timberwolves trying to play 2 6'0" guards like the timberwolves or Bucks

Schroder is the "little guy" and hes almost the size of Latrell Spreewell...

the best coach for this team would obviously be Jeff Van Gundy

Are you saying you like it because they can shoot over the small guys?

are you guys convinced Franklins jumpshot is totally broken and unlikely to improve?

i was always told classically jumpshot improves over time if you put enough work into it, this kid looks crafty and smart and a worthy late first round project.

Jamaal Franklin is no Mardy Collins, im certain of that

no its for matchup reasons, to change the pace of the game, all of a sudden we come in with a team thats just as fast as you, probably quicker to loose balls and rebounds, probably more explosive, and in most cases much bigger.

lets say you have Hayward in instead of burks for youz with shooters love.

Schroder Hayward Franklin Favors Kanter

Hayward on one wing is the main 3point threat, on the other side of the court you have a major threat shooting 18 footers, Kanter. Favors lurks in the freethrow/ P'n'R area for elbow jumpers.

this leaves Franklin and Schroder, with lots of time/space

Matchup reasons? If they are just going to leave guys on the perimeter who can't shoot, and just pack the defense in the middle, there is no mismatch anymore. We will just not score the ball. Matchups only work when you have floor spacing in order to take advantage of the matchups. Matchups are a one on one game.

its a response, not the starting lineup (starting lineup has more shooting for sure, but i think franklin can make marginal improvements, year-over-year, in his 3pt %)

think about when the spurs play ginobili at 3, Danny Green at 2 and Parker at 1

the Franklin,Hayward,Schroeder lineup would need to work like that, and i think Schroeder can get into the paint and cause havoc, i really do

So in response to not scoring, or getting scored on too much, we just put an entire team in where the defense can sag and protect the basket? How does this make sense? In that situation, would we not just get outscored more and more, on every possession? If you can't shoot the ball, and can't get inside past five defenders, how do you score the ball?
