Definitely mobile. Compare him to Tomic. Bebe can finish so much better.
Got to love a fast, tall center who can play defense, and board.
He seems like an interesting option if we can't bring over Tomic.

and damn it would be fun to say his name all season!

he reminds me of DeAndre Jordan, who went from a top 5 prospect to a 2nd rounder, he was in the 1st round on my board...

and thankfully, Bebe is a better Freethrow shooter, 66% last year. this kid is worthy of taking a flyer on imo, his wingspan is that of

I've liked him as a backup for a few years. I may be wrong but it looks like he was able to put on a little weight?
DeAndre Jordan is a good comp. Athletic "defensive" big.

yes ive seen Bebe for several years now, he made great strides in his game, and conditioning this year, and isnt as rail thin, he seems to me like someone who could move up late in the process

Now I know that how high you can jump doesn't determine how athletic you are, but the 17.6 and 20.9 no step and max vertical numbers respectively that DraftExpress has listed for Lucas definitely don't make me excited. Those numbers are abysmal. Maybe they are outdated or are in some metric measurement that I am unaware of...quadrimeters.

this kid is/was lazy, he has no idea what his potential would be like if he worked hard, all ill say is this... he is a quick jumper, very fluid athelete for someone that size, doesnt have that classic "gathering" delay some big centers do.

i think he projects to be an awesome offensive rebounder, he needs several years to fill out though...

Is it just a coincidence that Jazz also uses P3 extensively?

Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 5h
At P3 in Santa Barbara today for Shabazz Muhammad workout. Strength training this morning. Basketball this afternoon.

PJ3 also uses them. How was he for the Jazz last year?

Well, here's hoping Bazz also slips ala PJ3.

Here's why Ford thinks he'll slip to #14:

Muhammad did not have a bad combine, as some have suggested. He showed up and competed, which is something very few of the other top prospects bothered to do. His jump shot wasn't falling, and teams were mixed on his interviews. Part of the issue is just finding the right team. The Pistons are a good fit, and the same is true for the Wolves and Mavs. I doubt he'd slide past the Jazz at 14.

if we land Bazz at 14, Schroder at 21 then James Southerland in the 2nd. thats my best case scenario, honestly

we'd have a milsap - jefferson - kanter - favors situation at 2/3 with

shabazz - burks - hayward - southerland/marvin

though we can easily get them all 30 minutes(the first 3) but theres not many minutes for others on the wing
