If I understood the original question correctly, the answer for the Jazz is the wing. SG or SF, always has been. Ty Corbin hasn't changed that.
But Dalamon's post got to me thinking....
if the Jazz go pg at 14, doesn't that impact Burks the most? I expect Foye and Hayward to eat up all the minutes at sg, and Hayward and DeMarre/Evans all the time at sf. Last year when everyone was injured Burks was playing pg, but he is a back-up pg, not a starter. And if the Jazz draft a pg at 14, they will most certainly sign a veteran pg to teach him the ropes. Those two will eat up the bulk of the minutes, leaving a few for Burks. That makes Burks the 3rd string pg and 3rd string sg? What a waste of a pick. Jazz really made a mess of a #12 pick in the draft or developing him or both. Hopefully it shakes out different but I suspect Burks is the prize the Jazz are dangling to move up.
