Following potential 2013 draftees

best case scenario, presuming we sign Dwight and CP3 with Al Farooq Aminu for MLE

Shabazz Muhammad@14
Ricky Ledo@21
Ray McCallum@46

chris singleton was a terrible prospect that fooled me, lol.

i dont like to talk bad about kids, but i was actually suprised to see the way he was acting, it certainly spread around that team, mcgee is a noted jackass they were asking for trouble bringing a team like that together

al farooq aminu is a similar skillset, tho hes much more advanced and hes selfless, knows how to fill the lanes on the break

aminu is also way more talented, and i think hes been growing...

singleton i think was clearly one of the bad seeds from the wiz, somepeople who are scowling all the time are totally full of ****

then theres people like shroder who scowl because their waiting to explode...

Seriously, how often do teams target a player because he is from there? Seems like a pretty stupid premise. I don't think it happens as often as its thrown around.

Did I say it was the main reason? Perhaps the fact that Detroit needs a pure PG, the kid is POY in college and finally he could easily be still on the board. The PR/marketing could be part of the decision-making if they have two equal players rated at their draft spot. SO it is not as dumb as you think.

if you presume you dont know what the jazz are going to do in free agency, how could they not take a PG prospect with one of the 1st rounders

even if they think Ray McCallum or Pierre Jackson or Peyton Siva maybe worth taking a flier on in the 2nd round, it still is reasonable to think they will take a PG

at 14 or 21

so also presuming we arent going after any PF's or C's who are worthy of major minutes this season

MCW isnt going to fall to 14... so the other options, this year, other than schroder are all basically undersized pg's which im not sure are worthy of top picks, these days

Schroder at 14 works with almost any FA PG we can land because clearly schroder might play light, well hes got 4% bodyfat, as he adjusts not only will he be a nightmare defensing PG's but he will be able to handle many SG's easily... this is why if im the jazz im trading up for schroder

we dont have to get greedy this draft though, even if we win a ton of games next season there will be low hanging fruit available in next years draft

I might no longer be Schroeder's biggest fan on this site, but I'm mighty glad he'll definitely be there at #14.

Thank God for Dennis' homesickness. (who would have thought? LOL)

btw i dont have schroder #5th on my board, but i figured after watching the euro summit that he wasent gonna lose momentum going into the draft.

and usually the people who really know their stuff in draft threads use the "take BPA" cop-out

i like to do the team needs and stuff like that, and try and figure out what seems plausible

if we can get schroder at 14, hes a steal. its just that simple, its not even like a wow schroder is gonna be the greatest thing since sliced bread

but, what are the other options?

theyre not better than a healthy mo williams, who owes us a bit of a discount for last season too.

so yeah if were gonna presume Schroder at 14, then what do we do with #21???

Center? Sf/Pf? Wing? another PG?

so much roster flexibility, its hard to call these things

^^^

Well I've been calling for Schroeder at #14 and Giannis at #21.

I've been calling that for a good 2 months now, and I'm sticking by that.
