Following potential 2013 draftees

Stranger things have happened, Jimmer got drafted in the top-10.

I agree, honestly at the end of the year if his draft stock is late-first round pick to early second-round pick and the GS pick is in the 25-30 range I wouldn't mind taking the chance on him.

I'd rather try and use one of our vets that will not be on the team and try and move up into the early 2nd round.

If the Jazz added WCS, Saric and Wolters through the draft I would forgive the team for putting me through the last 2.5 years.

If he is there at #48, that would be perfect, but I should have specified better, if Smart, MCW, Burke, McCollum, and Kabongo are somehow all taken at #22 assuming we got a small forward at #18 then you have to consider reaching for Wolters maybe. In reality the point guard that will be there at #18 that I would love the Jazz to take is C.J. McCollum or Burke might fall or the Jazz might slip into the lottery then there is a good chance for Burke and maybe even MCW.

Jazz need to get McCollum with their pick or Kabongo with the GS pick, assuming Burke isn't there or the Jazz start losing and end up in the lottery.

After watching the McCollum highlights, I thought he looked pretty good... granted anyone looks good in highlights.

Any two player combination of Smart, MCW, Burke, McCollum, Kabongo and Porter, Poythress, McAdoo, Mitchell, Saric would be a really good draft for the Jazz.

I hate to be a broken record and say things that are obvious.. but I advise against reaching for a PG simply because it's a need. I don't think ANY of the PG's in this draft are all that good, aka elite..

One, maybe two, will emerge as a decent PG, but as of right now, no one has a great read on who that will be. Yes, we need a PG, but unless we work someone out and the FO just gets a great feel from a kid and has a solid hunch, draft bpa.

I agree with all of this with one minor caveat, I would reach on one in the 2nd round.

There are some players that intrigue me. Players like Wolters, Howell (NC State), McDermott and Wofford.

Intriguing does not equal exciting. Right? If so, we agree. Also, I haven't looked to see where he's being mocked, but I would add Deshaun Thomas to that list.
