Wolter's looks like a horrible pick. Hopefully we dodge that bullet.
Olynyk is averaging 17.5 PPG on 65% from the field and he has the highest PER in all of college basketball at 35.2.
Guys, remember when we were all popping boners over Scott Machado?
What I'm looking at is his mobility, shooting touch and offensive versatility. I can't think of many 7-foot players who can do what he does--except Dirk Nowtizki (inside the 3-pt line). Plus, Olynyk plays some defense and works hard. He needs to get stronger and gain confidence on the boards, but he can develop those abilities as a pro, given that he's only 21.
A 7-footer with a 15 - 18 ft. jump shot can almost always get a decent percentage shot off, making him a good 3rd or 4th option on offense similar to the way the Jazz used Okur.
I think that would be an exaggeration. Machado put up big assist numbers, but he could never do half the things Wolters can do. Machado is a little guy who plays fast and passes off.

Based on what?
Can Wolter's physically make it in the NBA?

I think so. It would look something like this (below). My question is whether he can play at NBA speed, but the basics are there. For the record, I would take Marcus Smart, Trey Burke and CJ McCollum ahead of him, but once it gets into the BJ Young and Myck Kabongo area, it gets blurry for me, and I could probably live with this guy too.
