Following potential 2013 draftees

Would anyone be upset with us taking James McAdoo with our second pick? After pg, sf is probably our biggest need. Some view him as a tweener, but I see him more as a Gerald Wallace, Shawn Marion type player, seems like a strong athletic sf type that plays good defense, athletic do everything type player that can bully smaller sf's. Am I right or way off base on my analysis of McAdoo.

I see he's not much of a shooter and shoots under 60% from the foul line, but is big and athletic, can defend and make an impact on a team. If he can in fact be a true sf, I can think of worse picks from 18 to 21 range

Thoughts...

The funny thing is with Roy Williams new small line-up he has been playing center and they have been winning. I like him, the question is, is he a three or a four? At 6'8 he has nice size for a small forward, if UNC can get a win or two in the NCAA Tournament I would definitely consider him with the GSW pick providing he is the BPA at small forward.

I have to admit his passing is amazing. (saric) if McCullum is the best pg we can get then draft saric.

McCollum is a tweener, is he a point guard or shooting guard? So, I agree with you if Burke or MCW is gone take a hard look at Saric then get a point guard with the GSW pick.

McAdoo is not a SF. He's a small PF. That's why he has dropped from 4 to mid.

I think he'll be the player MKG was supposed to be and more.

I see them as pretty equal. I think MKG is a bit better at everything but shooting. Dipo can actually hit if he is open, MKG can't. In my eyes they are both heavily dependent on going to the right team.

Of all the lottery teams, the Timberwolves would probably be the best fit for Dipo.

the more I think about this draft the more I hate it. the talent is back up material at best. the pg I want will go befor the jazz pick. I hate taking other teams scraps.

This draft is actually really great for where we are drafting. It's not a great draft with top-tier talent, but it's a deep draft.

I haven't seen him play at all this year, but saw a lot of him last year. No way, from what I saw last year, is he a SF.
