What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

I've mentioned him before, and not a need of the Jazz, but watch for an off-the-radar guy. Willie Cauley-Stein.
Legit 7 footer and ATHLETIC.

Played wide receiver in HS and in 9 games pulled down 57 passes for 14 touchdowns. He was being recruited as a dual-sport athlete, but decided to drop football and concentrate on bb. He's an incoming freshman at UK.

I checked him out in a couple of videos. Seems very intriguing. I wish there was more on him on he intertoobs.

There will be soon enough .. cbb season is only a couple weeks from starting.

I was hoping that you had some hidden somewhere.

I can wait until the season starts. I your opinion who will get more playing out of the Goonie brothers?

Cauley-Stein and Wiltjer call themselves the Goonie Brothers. I thought you knew that. There was a Kentucky new station claiming hat those two were the newest Internet sensation.

Oh yeah. I forgot about their late night youtubing.

So, who will see more playing time?

That's a great question.

Wiltjer is a lights out shooter but gets burned on D .. but knows the system.

It's a tough call whether Calipari will play WCS alongside Noel. He says he's contemplating it, but I don't really see it.

I'd say it'll be very close with each of them getting 15 - 17 minutes per game.

SF's and PG's I'm watching closely that should be in the 7 to 20 range;
Alex Poythress - SF (should be awesome)
C.J. Leslie - SF/PF (curious to see if he's made strides to play SF)
Lebryan Nash - SF (oozing talent, let's see if he can also play smart)
C.J. McCollum - PG (see if the hype continues)
Adonis Thomas - SF (Like this kid, looking fwd to see him play again this year)
B.J. Young - PG/SG (he's a SG that knows he needs to demonstrate ability to play PG, everybody watching)
Myck Kabongo - PG (let's see if he has a breakout year and plays with more poise)
Otto Porter - SF
Ryan Harrow - PG
Trey Burke - PG

I like that Leslie is your #2 SF. Honestly though, I'm worried that Leslie will digress until the end of the season. I want to see him look like a beast all year long. I think I'm about to be disappointed.

Dario Saric, Tony Mitchell, and Kyle Anderson should be on your radar too.
