What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

in seriousness I can't get excited for anything. they are digging my sons grave as I type.

Xthren,

I just visited the blog in your signature and understand what has happened. I can only offer my sympathy for your loss. However, at the same time, I do not view death as necessarily a sad event. Not that you asked for it, but I'll share some understanding I have.... When a person dies, it is simply that the person's body whose flesh cells composed of molecules are cast aside, while the being at a sub-molecular level--the true spirit and being whose life is composed at a more microcosmic level--continues to exist. In that case, the being might ascend or return to this human world of ours depending on the wishes of that being. It is simply that we cannot detect his or her existence at an ordinary level, since we cannot see the planes of existence at the atomic level and beyond. So perhaps you lost a friend or a son in this life, but you have not truly lost him. You have simply witnessed the solemn event of a person close to you passing.

Thanks my son was a big physics kid and what are are describing is quantum physics which my son loved.

At this point it's funny because most mock drafts don't suit the team for their needs. Lots will change between now and draft night.

Good to see people are catching up on GR3.

I've been saying this for the longest time, my dream draft = Draft Burke & Glen Robinson III.

For better worse, I filed this away to memory many weeks ago. You will be either praised or bashed based upon their production in the league.

As mediocre as this draft may be, it's pretty important that the Jazz don't make the playoffs. We'll do well to come out of the draft with either Burke or McCollum.

True, but remember, I'm not saying I'd take Burke & GR3 as the #1 and #2 picks of the draft. I'd take them where we're picking which could be around $10-#14 and #18-#22.

My prediction is that these players would out-play their expectations at those picks - which to me is a pretty safe prediction.
