Following potential 2013 draftees

So wait, you are fine drafting a kid that has shown flashes in a low level league in Greece who also has some of the same concerns but you hate Saric that has proved to be the best player on a team that won the Euro championship for his age group?

Yea, that makes total sense. Keep on trollin'.

Shows the same concerns? What?

I would predict that McGary should enter the draft. I don't think he's going to get much better as a college player unless he starts scoring from all over the floor all of a sudden.

Saric is much more polished and a safer bet than Giannis. I will say that Giannis has a higher ceiling but he also has a much longer journey to reach that ceiling.

He should go pro if he's hearing 1st round .. and he is.

Giannis, 1st of all, has incredible defensive potential with his length. His athletic ability is also clearly capable of being improved once he grows into his freakishly freaky body.

Last time I checked, the league Giannis was in, he shot 70% from the foul line.

Can't shoot and rarely defends. Yes, he's shown flashes but so has every other player ever drafted because they have "potential".

Not same concerns. Everything about Giannis stems from rawness, everything about Saric stems from lack of athletic ability and sucking.

Giannis is a bit longer and quicker than Saric, and also a more aggressive scorer....although both are young. A debate about Giannis vs. Saric might sound a bit like a debate over Paul George vs. Gordon Hayward. I think Saric will be a good player though. He does a lot for a guy who's 6'10". He just doesn't look like a big-time scorer and seems more like a facilitator, kick-out guy.

Are they partial or impartial? Don't they have an invested interested in the players declaring ASAP? Especially in a weak draft scenario?

Obviously information isn't going to be perfect, but the process is just about collecting as much information as possible. One team may have an interest in having a player declare now, one may have interest in him staying in college, it probably balances out.
