Following potential 2013 draftees

I would call it the Bargnani marshmellow soft memorial power forward position for at least 3 years.

Well that is a little harsh, he tries to play inside he is just too weak. Maybe over time he can add some bulk but I doubt he is ever going to be more than 225-230.

He has the length and athletic ability to be an off the ball shotblocker and he can shoot and be a faceup finesse 4. I just worry about rebounding and being beasted in the post.

Austin was listed 220 to start his Freshman year.......

The guy has a solid frame, could definitely add some weight on it and get up to 240-ish.

Just and FYI i can see Jabari parkers stock dropping in 2014. Duke is not the best system to increase draft stock.

Tell that to Kyrie Irving.

I don't really know where your statement is coming from at all. Duke just doesn't tend to recruit or get players who are considered to be 1 and done pro prospects. They usually get college players (white people who can shoot). When they have gotten those types of players though, they get perform and get drafted just fine.

That isn't true. They are one of several schools that tend to hold onto players that are projected lottery picks. Along with Baylor, UNC, Florida, Louisville, Kansas..
There's a reason why scouts say they like to see kids go to Kentucky... they say that Cal's system allows them to better gauge the kids' strengths and weaknesses.. and Cal uses that in his recruiting pitch. He says if you suck at something I can't hide it.. but if you're incredible at something.. you'll be able to showcase it early and often. It's a more pro-style system.

I would argue that Duke prepares it's players for the NBA quite well. Miles Plumlee for example. Mason Plumlee averaged more points his senior year of college than he ever did in highschool. Hell, even that bum Shavlik Randolph is still playing in the NBA.

I don't see how one can say going to Duke will lower your draft stock.

Nothing negative just Duke runs a very team oriented offense it doesnt showcase individual abilities. Irving hardly played so he doesnt count he was draft mostly on what he did before.

They hold onto players because they recruit players that actually want to stay in college for a while.

Jackson's Baylor/OKST Big 12 tournament game was one of the most impressive games I've seen all year. Dude went insane in the final few minutes and would have won the game if it wasn't for a bogus call by the refs.

********. Nobody thought Irving was going to be that good until he showed what he could do at Duke. There's a reason K changed their offense so a true freshman could lead it. That doesn't happen often. You can say it doesn't showcase individual abilities, but Nolan Smith, Irving and JJ Redick would disagree with you. Those are just a couple examples btw.
