Austin, to me, is just too good talent wise to pass up on.

from looking at schröder he has a nice frame, well developed. he can put on muscle with out getting bulky.

I would take Austin and Olynk over Schroeder. Yeah, PG is more of a need, but a 3rd big who can shoot is a nice luxury. Millsap was a 3rd big who backed up two All-Star bigs, but he was still a huge key to the Jazz's success back in the day.

But how good would those teams have been without a ****ing point guard? When did I say third bigs weren't important? Relativity.

Yeah, I get that it isn't that simple. I'm all for drafting need over BPA if the margin between players isn't that high. I just think in the case of Austin vs. Schroeder, it is a pretty high margin.

McCollum vs. Austin could be an argument of the margin being small enough to go need, but I'm not a big McCollum fan.

Where do you guys think Sergey Karasev will go? He already has great experience playing his 3rd year on a competitive team and he is just 19 years old. He is said to have great work ethic too. He needs to bulk up and improve defensively but he can be a great prospect.

Well there are no D-Will's in this draft, hell I'm not sure there is a pg in our range that's any better then Mo. The only pg I can say with any real confidence that could be better then Mo is CJ. Frankly he's the only pg I'd even want in any of our first round picks. I feel we have a potentially strong starting lineup, and think we would do better to strengthen our bench with a decent third big.

Except that was just ****ing stupid of them. Portland chose two players with bad wheels (Roy was missing cruciate ligaments before he was even drafted, so because of that, drafted "need" by drafting a giant with a leg an inch longer than the other and being plagued by injuries in high school) over drafting what should've been fairly obviously the best player of the three if for no other reason than that the other two had career-compromising injury histories.

I think late teens at the highest, early 2nd at the lowest.

He gets beat off the dribble a ton from what I've seen. If we didn't have Hayward I might be interested.
