Following potential 2013 draftees

Nice pic of Nerlens. This guy's got hops.

Actually the other guy doesnt.

With the overall dearth of PGs, how high will MCW climb on the draft board? It's completely conceivable that reaches well into the top 10, right?

Honest questions to the gurus.

Based on a few conversations I've had with some guys that get paid to evaluate, I'd be surprised if any of them reach top 10. The buzz right now seems to be much more heavily weighted toward MCW. Obviously this will change a couple times as these trends ebb and flow throughout each season. I'm not hearing much overly positive about BJ Young and not much regarding Trey either. There's actually a bit more about McCollum than these guys, but even that isn't much..

I just don't see many teams gambling much just because the position is a need. I would say, at this point, MCW is the only PG with a chance to crack the top 10 and it's not likely .. 12 - 15, I'd say.

Trey Burke's my guy fwiw. Pushes the ball relentlessly, and probes the paint effectively in the halfcourt. Perfect PG for Favors and the rest of the younguns.

For the Jazz;

Trey - For reasons above
CJ - Spreading the floor (just hate his assists numbers)
MCW - For size and upside
Young - Pass

I don't think it is much of an exaggeration to call our PG situation desperate. That, and given MCW's ability to slide to SG, I wouldn't mind at all if we went after both MCW and Burke.

What say y'all?

Dumb. Have you looked at MCW's shooting numbers? And our clutter of wings?
