What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

Yikes, just watched the vid you posted. That was from 2 years ago. Dakari has grown an inch and dropped 40 lbs since then. Here's a vid from the City of Palms event a month ago .. top games of the year for HS basketball, the who's who in the nation. Here are his highlights from his two games in the event. He's still not spectacular or anything, but much better than the video of him as a 15 year old.

Much better.

Andrew Harrison - 19pts, 9asts
Aaron Harrison - 27ppg
James Young - 22pts, 9rbs, 7asts
Marcus Lee - 16pts, 18rbs, 7blks
Dakari Johnson - 17pts, 13rbs, 4blks

Derek Willis - 16pts, 9rbs, 3blks

The three uncommitted we're after;

Andrew Wiggins - 27pts, 11rbs, 4asts, 3stls, 2blks
Julius Randle - Been injured, not enough data ..
Aaron Gordon - 29pts, 14rbs, 2blks

Yep, he's the only kid I've ever dared to make that comparison. Jordan is kind of off limits as far as I'm concerned. Funny thing with Wiggins is he's so far ahead of the rest, yet still a bit more raw than his peers. Upside is ridiculous.

The tanking to get him will be disgusting next year. I can see Toronto in particular going to extremes to get their hometown boy - like 5-7 wins.

If only the Jazz had the balls to just sign on enough scrubs to reach the cap requirement, play The Four all the minutes, and potentially land Wiggins. I hope they prove me wrong.

I'd love to see the Jazz wind up with any of;

Wiggins
Andrew Harrison
Julius Randle
Even;
Aaron Harrison (though not a need .. I love strong bulls that can force their way through defenders but still light it up from deep, pretty rare combo)

Andrew Harrison (6'5/220) - Pure PG with size, strength, and great shooting touch.

Watching videos go Wiggins makes me hate the one year rule. Wiggins should be #1 this year, not next year.

I personally would like to see an option to come out after high school and if you don't there is a mandatory two years in college.

Thoughts?
