KOC has always said letting Mo go was the biggest mistake of his career. I'm worried he is going to overcorrect himself.
Can someone give a summary of previous 200 pages? Who are we drafting and why?
His re-iteration of this recently was merely a publicity stunt to make fans warm-up to Mo Williams' trade. He's a master communicator, everything he says has a purpose. Him saying that was simply to hide the fact that we flamed out on the GSW pick and eventually missing out on a long term PG from the draft.
Re-signing Mo in the twilight of his career for 4 more years is just stupid. And KOC doesn't do stupid.
I'd be pissed if we signed him for 4 years too. And yes, KOC has done stupid plenty of times in his career.
Some things are clear from his season here so far:
- Mo is no PG. He tries hard, but as it stands his passing & control of the game is just not quite there.
- Injury prone (even before the thumb injury)
- Not really a reliable option when the game's on the line
Ford has bumped MCW up to #8.

In other news, nbadraft.net has McLemore going #1, lol.

Whaaatt........... haven't really seen him play, but isn't he similar to Marshall from last year?
Actually he has said this many times, years before Mo came back. I can promise you that. I have listened to many of his interviews over the years. So he was not saying it just to warm us up to Mo. He said it when we had Deron in his twilight here. So your premise is wrong. Just trust me on this one. KOC has always said that was his biggest mistake.
And like Spy said, he does do stupid. He's not the worst GM ever, but he certainly isnt the god of GM's that everyone around here makes him out to be. He is average at best. Let me know how you feel about him in a year when you see that he did nothing to maximize our assets and we are all bitching about more players we can't stand. People keep trying to say, just wait, KOC has a plan, he is gonna trade Al. Or he is just biding his time to make that big move. I think we look back on this in a year and think what if. What if we would have made some trades instead of going for an 8th seed playoff run two years in a row. I think we will be left and dry wondering how we can get some help.
I hate to sound so down on the Jazz, but I have seen this show before many times. I'm just too damn frustrated with Jazz management. I don't believe they are all in. It feels far too much like they are just trying to not to lose.
