Following potential 2013 draftees

Victor Oladipo is another shooting guard the Jazz could grab at #17. At 6-5, 215 lbs, Oladipo is almost ideal size for a shooting guard in the NBA. A lockdown defender which should transfer into the league very well. His jumpshot was shaky last year, but this year he has improved it a lot. Today in a win against #13 Michigan St. he had 21 pts, 7 rebs, 6 stls, 3 blks, and 1 ast. Oladipo finishes in transition very well and is very athletic which helps him finish at the rim and his speed helps him ge easy lay-ups. His 21 points came on 8-12 shooting from the field including 1-2 from the three-point line.

ESPN's Chad Ford has Victor Oladipo ranked #20 on his draft big board with his projection mid first-round.

I think tweeners have a place in the nba. They are great in 3 man rotations. The problem is they need to be pared with the correct players. If you have a 3/4 tweener then when they are playing the 3 then you might wnt top air them with a stretch 4. They are just hard to coach and we know how good a coach Corbin is.

Now if the jazz where drafting on pure need this would be my priority.

Pg - biggest need in jazz land.

3 or a 3/4 - Hayward can play the 2 and burks is a 2 who can play some 1 so a true 3 would be nice. 3/4 see next

A true center neither kanter or favors are true centers. A true center in a 3 man rotation would be great.

Sg - some one that is a pure shooter as nether burks or Hayward are pure shooters

Back up big some one to spell minutes behind kanter and favors. This could be a 3/4 or a pure 4 or even another player that can be either a 4/5.

I wouldn't even be against drafting 2 pgs. Increases our chances of one of them working out. This isn't the year to do that however.

Willie Cauley-Stein is another interesting player, he is my favorite Kentucky player, a 7'0, 245 lbs center who has a ton of potential. PKM what are you're thoughts on him? Say the Jazz trade Millsap and let Jefferson go during the off-season and parlay #17 and #24 to move up into the Top-10 (where he is projected) to grab Cauley-Stein, after that the Jazz have a nice young 3 big-man rotation of Favors, Kanter, and Cauley-Stein.

I've written pages and pages on all the UK guys. WCS is, imo, the #2 best prospect on the UK team at the moment, next to Noel.

(make sure you look back a page and see what Cal has to say about Archie, btw)

I read it and thank you for all the info. I guess I am a little late to the Kentucky party haha!

Doug McDermott at #24 wouldn't be a bad pick-up as a small forward for the Jazz as well, there would be a lot white stereo-types if that happened though.

PKM, any thoughts on Oladipo or McDermott?

No uk bandwagon for me this year. They don't have a pg I want. Goodwin according to pkm is shaky, poythress has no heart and Noel won't be there when we draft. I wouldn't mind wcs though, where is he projected and do you think he will come out this year?
