Following potential 2013 draftees

Potential Draftees I'm interested in (that may be within reach draft-wise):
Mason Plumlee - (athletic, tall PF with offensive skills)
Kelly Olynk - (mobile, tall PF with some offensive skills)
Nate Wolters (Tall guard that can score)
Doug McDermott (a SF that can shoot)
James McAdoo (athletic backup at SF)

I like your list. I like the idea of Wolters (only in the second round) and McDermott would be a nice offensive piece as well. The other three interest me but certainly not in the teens or even the early 20's. Late 20's or later.

Not Being a Homer, But Anthony Marshall for UNLV has trasitioned to the 1 very well. He is shooting the ball real well and has been the MVP of the team during league play. He has shown he can take over a game with his scoring and has become a very good leader. Not saying his a 1st round pick but Id use our second on a player like him. Great size and speed and fixed his two biggest flaws this year which were shooting and transitioning to the 1. He leads the MWC in assists this year.

Tell me more. What do his numbers look like? What are his measurements? Do you have a vid that you can post here?

34.0 minutes per, 11.0 points, 6.2 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 49.1%, 42.6% on 3.0 attempts, 65.4% on 3.5 attempts, 2.9 turnovers

He will turn 22 next month but I couldn't find measurements.

Yes, I think if the Jazz part ways with Milsap and possibly Jefferson (depending on what they get back) I think pursuing Olynk or Mason Plumlee (Duke) would make pretty good sense because they have some useful skills for the PF position and could become very good backups. I get the sense that Favors and Kanter are better suited as Centers than PF. If Paul and Big Al both leave then we'd be thin at the 5, 4 slots and would need bodies. If the Jazz end up with Gortat in this rumored trade (with maybe Novak from NY) then other Jazz picks could bused at Guard or SF.

Jazz will likely lose Millsap or Jefferson (or both), probably Marvin Williams (seems over priced to me so far) and not completely sure what to think of Mo Williams yet.........too many injuries. I think Marvin may have an option for this next year 9I'd have to check) and can't remember when Mo's contract expires. We should definitely keep Randy Foye unless the price gets too steep. Keep Carroll, Hayward, Favors, Kanter, Burks, and Evans,...........maybe even Tinsley if the price is good and depending on how the guard position works out. Sounds like Humphries may be up for grabs too if we needed a PF, he's improved over the years.......not sure if he's a better team player though. If Utah lands Novak then picking McDermott may not be as interesting. Having lots of shooters could change the offensive strategy though and really open up the middle.

No way McAdoo is a SF.
