Following potential 2013 draftees

Let's trade out both picks, combine our next first, and get a top 5 next year.

OK - I'd take that deal too. I don't know any team stupid enough to do that trade with us though.

Let's say that's not possible - who would be your 2 picks this year. Let's say #15 and #22?

The Jazz are one player away from a serious contending team. I'm just not sure who that player is yet. Someone has to become a go-to scorer and emotional leader.

IMO, it's an absolute leader that has the respect of the team, knows the Play book, and executes the offense....

It's a point guard, I'm telling you. A point guard who can thrive in the pick and roll, find spots for players like Derrick Favors, run pick and pops with Kanter. Find cutters like Hayward, Burks, Kanter.

I truly think that we are one competent point guard away from having a very solid, Pacers-remeniscent core.

I still think the warriors will see an injury or two and won't have the stones for the final 15 games. They'll finish 8 or 9. I think that pick + ours + some future pick can land us Burke. Just my opinion.

If GS finishes 8th or 9th, we won't need to trade up for Burke.

In all honesty man, the only way I see Burke not being draft late lottery is if he just collapses in the NCAA tournie this March.

He's well-rounded, leading the way for one of the top teams on the nation, gets consistent defensive attention, and still gets it done night in night out. If Michigan gets to at least Elite 8, Burke is going 12-14th. Book it.

I don't normally wish for any team or anyone to fail. But I wouldn't be completely unhappy if somehow Michigan got tripped up in one of their elimination games. Hopefully Burke & Robinson III slides and we pick them both up. They'll get to come to a very exciting young team with Kanter & Favors - so in the end I think it'll be beneficial to them.

Dude, same here. I don't want Burke to slide down too far, out of fear that KOC won't draft him as well.

But honestly, I just can't see them being a first round exit again this year. Too much talent. I'm gonna claw my eyes out when I see Burke get drafted by a team like the Dallas Mavericks. I've been following this dude since he started playing for Michigan last year, and I've loved him and supported him continuously. Dude is shooting almost 49% from the field, 37% from three, and can hit shots off the dribble, with feet set, whatever.

Honestly, hes gonna lead Michigan pretty far. He's a perfect floor general. Im telling you guys-- PERFECT for this Jazz roster.

If there is a God, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us Black Jesus. PLEASE.

They've been sliding a bit recently though 1-3 over the last 4, for whatever reasons. They don't really have a strong inside presence at the moment, so they're not unbeatable by any means.

A late lottery pick, our pick, and a future pick is over-paying for Burke. I still think he goes around 12/13.
I like Burke and he's my pick for this draft, but I'd Love to trade the GSW pick plus?? for a top 10 next year and snag Kasey Hill (assuming we can't get Andrew Harrison).

Then, with our pick this year maybe take Kabongo and have a year to see how he produces before we know how badly we need a PG for next year. Next year's class is badass .. I don't care how many people thrown out the "we hear that every year" thang.

OT: Karl Towns - not this draft, not next, but '15. The kid is 16 years old.
