If I had to choose between:
1.) Keeping Millsap, resigning him for ~$10million and drafting Trey Burke
vs.
2.) Trading Millsap and a 1st-round pick for Bledsoe and Odom's contract.
I would choose Option-1 right now but that doesn't mean I think Burke will be a better player than Bledsoe. I can envision Burke potentially being a better fit w/Utah than Bledsoe but there's no doubt Bledsoe can do alot of things Burke can't just because of his ridiculous athleticism (and unlike Burke we know Bledsoe can do those things on an NBA-level). Burke may not be a "star" but if you get him in the mid-teens and he's on a Mike Conley "very solid starter&leader " level (and I think he's a better shooter/creator than Conley) I think the Jazz would still have a bright future w/out gambling on Bledsoe who has some warts in his game too.
Even if the Millsap-Bledsoe trade goes through (fwiw I doubt it will because I don't think LAC does it), you'd still have a 26-28 game sample-size to evaluate Bledsoe on Utah to help determine if you should target a young PG in June.
Man, I know alot of people like it but I really hate all these hypotheticals.
