Following potential 2013 draftees

That's the knack on McLemore. He really plays within the team and doesn't look for his offense maybe as much as he should like Muhammad and Smart do. His mentality is best suited to be the 2nd/3rd option on a contender. But no question he's a top-5 talent in this draft.

And in all fairness, that performance came a week after he lit up Kansas St for 30 points on 13 shots. And he had 23 on Ok. State in their first meeting on 17 FGA.

Guys have bad games. It happens.

Porter needs to do this in the tournament though. He needs to do this a couple more times. Nonetheless, I'd guess he gets ranked within a few slots of Bennett and Oladipo.

South Dakota St. vs. Murray St. on ESPN2 at 8:00 ET, an interesting point guard matchup between Nate Wolters and Isaiah Canaan. Wolters is currently projected a early second-round pick and Canaan is currently projected a late-first round pick.

Wolters' highlights remind me of watching Jeremy Lin, which leaves me luke warm. I think Wolters might have a bit more IQ and a bit less athleticism though. Wolters also has more diverse ways to score.

yes but are we gonna pretend like smart didnt go and blow up their whole season and 28 home game winning streak, in unbelievably spectacular fashion(best solo act ive seen thus far)

this game was ben's chance at revenge, and he folded

bens talented, waste of space in a bunker. its that simple for me. and bill self is a turd if your taking credence in him saying hes better then deron... im flabbergasted, deron was being compared to MJ by bob knight in college.

he was cant miss, ben mclemore is overrated, vastly, and has character concerns. should i cite the efficiency of some 3-5million dollar shooting guards in the nba, his best case is JR Smith, who i think very highly of. not worth a top 5pick.

Otto Porter is a prototypical SF physically, although just a bit skinny. That could help his draft stock if GMs think guys like Isaiah Austin and Anthony Bennett don't quite fit neatly into a position.

Id Pick Anthony Bennett to play SG/SF in the top 5 before id take Ben Mclemore, Both were 'PF's' in HS.. Mclemore to me is like the thaddeus young of 2/3s.

I think these players should be viewed in the sense of 'can they be effective peices in a cog' (either inside or, outside rotations) judging someone on if they are fit in a historical sense to a role they may or may not fit, has already been debunked - in my book

EDIT:

if these 'undefined' players establish a role they are already more valuable then the collective opinion without actually improving anything(if they start improving in that role, you have eric bledsoe[alpha asset]),

i do think theres an Alpha strategy going after these undefined undervalued players, IF you believe they can be a successful piece to what your team is currently built for, thats why this flexibility is great.
