Following potential 2013 draftees

I meant Oladipo is clutch.

You're questioning Korver/Brewer comparison but endorsing Faried of SG comparison? WTF????

Cause he flat out CAN'T shoot like Korver. McCollum shoots the same % from 3 as Oladipo, but does it on over 5 attempts, and I wouldn't even say he can shoot like Korver.

What separates Oladipo from Ronnie Brewer? I haven't seen him play much.

This has already been addressed pretty well by Ty, but I wanted to emphasize the primary difference between Brewer and Oladipo (besides not having the one of the most comedically busted shots in the NBA [though he's gotten impressive results considering that, but that's not saying much]) is heart. Brewer was soft. His motivation defensively was to play passing lanes and contain his assignment, the latter usually suffering because of the former. Brewer didn't rebound particularly well either. Oladipo just goes after everything. Boards hard, plays physical defense, but is athletic enough to keep his space and still keep with his assignment. The guy just won't be denied most of the time.

And that is something that shouldn't be minimized by slapping words like 'intangibles' or 'motor' which tend to get vastly over used. There should be a word for these very rare breeds that doesn't get diluted by improper application. Oladipo has this in a very special way. Not many comps for his level inner fire, hard work, etc... but, again, those words aren't sufficient.

The main problem with these Oladipo/Brewer comps is that y'all are comparing Oladipo's college career to Brewer's pro career. Brewer was a much different college player than he was a pro player.

I just want to add too that the one thing that every single championship team is not a dominant center, or a dominant wing, or a dominant defense. It's an alpha male who leads and isn't afraid to grab control of the team and demand greatness of his teammates. Oladipo is exactly that type of guy.
