I think what he's saying is that people think the C4 would dominate if given the playing time, yet somehow we'd also end up in the lottery. He's pointing out that you can't really have both. At least I think that's what he was saying.

We'll we're in the WEST for 1.

OK we'll beat guys like the Bobcats, Cavs, etc in the EAST.

But most teams in the West we'll struggle IMO.

I bet we'd win in the 30s depending on who else we signed to replace Millsap and Al. I actually would love to keep Sap, very versatile and a really solid offensive player who can create his own shot which these young guys need at times. Also plays amazingly well in transition for a big guy which would be a great fit. If we could get Sap, Mo, a decent SG, and re-sign demarre plus draft decently I don't think we'd really be that much worse. Al is good in terms of consistency, which I'm sure a really young team would lack, but he has kind of a low ceiling.

With Al, we know what we're getting which is 6, 7, 8 and a first round exit.
 
PKM, Ford has Isaiah Austin at #20 right now. Does that actually seem accurate from what you've heard? I'd be giddy, if fell to us. He'll take a few years to adjust to the NBA game, but the upside is definitely there.

I hadn't noticed that. No, not right at all..

Austin will get killed in the league with his current frame, but the guy is too big and has too many skills to be selected past, say, 8/9. Personally, I'd put him in the area of 7.. maybe even a little higher. Bottom line is if a team thinks he can add strength, he's a near can't miss big.. if you think he can't, pass on him.
 
As for the question of the jazz record with a burks, hayward, favors, kanter starting lineup.... i think we would win about 42 games and just miss the playoffs finishing 9th or 10 in the west..... basically i think would be right about as good as portland is right now. (of course i believe in our youth more than most do)

It is a concern but remember the kid is what 19 years old and has been told he is the greatest thing since slice bread. The NBA has a way of humbling a player but it is too earlier to say the kid is a complete knucklehead. However, his reaction to the winning shot should certainly open up your eyes to the possibility that he is a more me player than a team player. If there are other incidents then I would certainly not have anything to do with him.
