Following potential 2013 draftees

On a semi-related note, Josh Selby just got waived by Cleveland. Surely he's better than Earl Watson.

This is what he looked like playing in the D-League...

I haven't watched him at all. Is he better than Moultrie?

I think he has incredible upside. I've never seen a faster, more athletic 7 footer..
He can dribble through traffic, take his man off the dribble, and uses both hands .. and he's really only been playing a few years.
Love his upside, a lot .. but he should be viewed a project more than finished product.

I would absolutely bring him in!

Noel is better on defense and intangibles. Drummond better scorer and rebounder.
I'd rather have Drummond, but there's still a huge question mark on his desire.

Yep. Though, any big in the NBA will be able to back down Noel...meaning he'll have defensive weaknesses, not just offensive ones. That dude needs to put on muscle fast.

********. I've called it like I see it every year. People may generally do that, but I refuse to be lumped in.

Kind of strange you say that you're a regular fixture of the draft threads.

And I pretty much avoid all HS talk.

Doesn't he project as a higher-motor + better rebounded than DJ?

I'm not watching enough cbb to know.

Not really too sure.

DeAndre had a pretty similar role on A&M to Stein (pre-Noel injury) and they put up similar numbers. Both seem to be fairly similar physical build and athletically. Both can't hit a FT to save their live.

That's cool, Cy. I get a little bent when I do follow, extensively, and people who don't make ill-informed and overly generalized statements.
I'm not trying to be an authority on anything, I just enjoy it and its become almost a tradition.

I, for the most part, respect your HS talk because you actually watch them and not just highlight reels. I feel like most people just do the latter, then that results in a giant hype machine.
